Other eye was normal with normal plr meance responses. Affected eye has mydriactic people with IOP 46. Normal eye had IOP 13 Meance was positive in affected eye indicated that eye has potential for vision. Anterior lens luxation is common in dogs and ultimately it leads to secondary glaucoma and retinal detachments. In this case intracapsular lens extraction was planned. And as vitreous prolapse is anticipated manual vitrectomy is also planned. A peripheral corneal incision is given with 15 no scalpel blade and anterior chamber is entered with keratotome. Incision is extended with left and right corneal scissors. Little viscoelastic is instilled below the lens so that it doesn’t fall in posterior chamber. Lens loop is used to extract the lens and adherent vitreous is separated with tenotomy scissors. Mild irrigation with bss is done. The corneal incision is apposed with 8-0 vicryl with 3 interrupted sutures and simple continuous pattern. Anterior chamber is formed with balanced salt solution. Sharing the pre op and post pics.
