[save me] THIS IS WHAT I WOULD DO - If I had to start over from scratch. I am sharing this to all of you so that you don't make the same mistakes as I did. READ, IMPLEMENT, SAVE, GO BACK TO IT WHEN NEEDED! It's been years that I have been in the industry. I started as a pet parent and transitioned to being a doctor. And, it got me thinking... What would I do if I had to prevent injuries in my active pet all over again? My 2 cents... I won't choose 1 technique and then later circle back to it. ❌ ➡️Restrict access to the stairs. ➡️Assist with vehicle and furniture exits. ➡️Provide traction on hard floors, stairs, and bathtubs. ➡️Warmup and cool down your dog before and after physical activity. ➡️Train your dog to accept nail trimming. ➡️Remove hanging tags during dog-dog wrestling sessions. ➡️Scan your yard, driveway, and sidewalk for hazards. ➡️I would channel my expertise right from the start.
